If you like snowboarding then this is the perfect game to try, especially since its on Game Pass. But what if you've mastered Shredders' snowy mountains and want to try something new? If you're looking for a game with the same kick and style as Shredders, these will scratch that snowboarding itch.
8 Steep

If you loved the freestyle design of Shredders then you just have to try Steep. It's an older game, but the graphics are stunning and the open world of the Alps is a thrill to explore by either snowboard, wingsuit, or paraglider.
While there may not be an end goal, this is the type of game that feels like a predecessor to Shredders is also a wonderful experience throughout. You get to perform and record stunts to show your friends, or you can simply do the stunts with them, making it a perfect multiplayer, trick-filled experience.
7 Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding
Since Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding came out in 2001, you can't expect the graphics to be pristine. However, for the most part, the graphics don't matter. When it comes to snowboarding titles or any trick-based exploration genre, it's all about the gameplay and often about the realism.
As the first of the Amped series, this wonderful game took the simulation genre by storm. It was incredibly popular and remains a fan favorite for many players. This is due to the fact that it's one of the first snowboarding games that focuses predominantly on the tricks. So, if you like performing tricks in Shredders, why not look where it all began?
6 Riders Republic

Sometimes it's good to stray away from a particular gaming category. After all, you need some variety and having a library filled with just snowboarding games will get boring very quickly. This is why it's imperative to try games that tackle similar gameplay from a different angle. And, maybe, even with different modes of transportation. This is where Riders Republic comes in.

While it may be a different world from the frosty peaks of the Alps, it's a wonderful trick and racing game that's relatively new to the gaming scene. Similar to Shredders, you can play it single-player or multiplayer, and you get to take part in side events like Steep. You can play on bikes, skis, snowboards, or wingsuits so if you really wanted to expand your horizons beyond snowboarding, this is a good place to try it out.
5 Alto's Adventure

Playing Shredders is undeniably entertaining, but it can often be frustrating or leave you a little tired of trying to land the same trick over and over again. So why not have a look into a game that will be a little more relaxing after a busy day on the slopes?
Alto's Adventure is the epitome of calm snowboarding, though there is still the occasional crash. Nevertheless, this adorable sidescroller still brings the snowboarding angle but focuses more on traversing a stunning world, instead of emphasizing tricks — although you can still do a few backflips on the jumps if you want. It may not be as fast-paced as Shredders, but it's a perfect relaxing game for snowboarding lovers.
4 The Snowboard Game

One of the best things about Shredders is its realism. You may often find the physics of the game aren't quite in your favor but the game boasts as close to real physics and logic as you can get. This is exactly what The Snowboard Game offers, too.
This aptly named indie game launched in 2018, and explores skills and tricks on different mountains with some of the most natural physics you'll find in a snowboarding game. It's well worth trying this game out to see how you fare compared to Shredders. After all, you may be better than you thought.
3 Skate 3

If tricks and exploring an open world are the things you love about many snowboarding games then it's likely you've played at least one of the Skate trilogy. However, if you haven't, you have to give them a try, particularly the most recent edition, so you can prepare for the release of the new Skate game which has been announced to be in the making and will even be available on PC for the first time.

Another older game in the snowboarding category, but another one that just should not be missed if you want to see where this wonderful genre began.
There's plenty to do in SSX 3 including multiple trick competitions or races to win some awesome rewards. You can also explore a multitude of different mountains and will often come across different zones to test your skills. It's a very entertaining game that will remind players of more modern games like the State series as well as classics like Amped.
1 Skater XL

While this may be a skateboarding game, it's all about performing those fantastic tricks and just being able to flick and twist whenever you feel like it. So, if tricks are your favorite thing about Shredders then you just have to try Skater XL.
After all, Skater XL boasts both multiplayer, mostly free-roaming, and fantastic physics-based gameplay to allow you to perform realistic and awesome tricks. The best bit about Skater XL is the controls. They're perfectly sensitive and allow you to control the skaters' feet, allowing for a realistic vibe, where nailing a trick requires lots of practice.
